Josh Tostado’s purpose in life is to have fun. This translates into becoming the dominant force in Solo Endurance Mountain Biking. The rewards of his pursuit of happiness include being the 2 time Solo Champion of the famed 24 Hours of Moab and 4 time winner of the Breckenridge 100.

His first race was the Montezumas Revenge in 2002, a 24 Hour event that requires participants to navigate a mountainous and often unmarked course through the Colorado backcountry. After an impressive 4th place finish in his inaugural race, he decided to surf in Costa Rica for a year. This is not a classic path to become national bike champion, but it worked. In ’04 he came back to Montezmas Revenge and not only won the race, he crushed the record by putting in 156 miles with an elevation gain of 32,350 feet. Since then he has added many races to his schedule and continues hold the fun factor in high regard.

Hydrapak is proud to be his partner in this quest.
