Crankfire is a mountain bike gps/mapping community based in New England that is one of the best resources for users wanting information on area rides. Unlike other mapping communities, Crankfire filters out janky routes, like personal rides to the grocery store, and presents actual rides, photos, nearest bike shops, trail hazards, and other info that users can load into a profile then download to their gps units. |
| Other Info | Starting in March 2010, Crankfire will be awarding Hydrapak products on a bi-monthly basis to users who input the most data (Routes, Bike Shop Locations, Photos, Route Reviews, and other information). There will be an overall winner announced in October. This winner will receive a full Hydrapak package of 2011 products and a Lowerance GPS Unit ($549 Value). Details will be announced February 16th. |
