15 Years of Salomon and HydraPak Hydration Innovation
HydraPak has provided hydration solutions to Salomon for over 15 years. Salomon helped pioneer the modern running vest category, while HydraPak brought expertise in flexible hydration systems. This partnership is more than a supplier relationship – with Salomon, HydraPak products have evolved to continue to serve athletes as they carry, access, and consume hydration and fuel.

Developing Custom Hydration for Salomon’s Running System
One of the earliest projects was the original SoftFlask™, which became central to Salomon’s famous front-mounted hydration vest. HydraPak developed highly customized flask geometry for Salomon’s S/LAB series, including features like the upper-flange positioning that directs the cap components away from the body. Salomon also saw the need to have a small, collapsible hydration vessel and worked with HydraPak to create a custom version of the SpeedCup, with custom Salomon blue. The SpeedCup is lightweight, flexible and stowable in a pocket or apparel. This lightweight option rounds out their full selection of hydration solutions.
