I brought this on a backpacking trip and when emptying the water into another water bottle, the seams started to split and the filter began to leak. Luckily we were at the end of our trip so this wasn't much of an issue. However, friends of ours who also you got the exact same pack had the same issue happen on their trip. Of the two people I know who own this filter both have had it break during a back packing trip. You should 100% not buy this filter/flask

I really enjoy this filtration system. It's so light and portable! The carrying case is very convenient and the whole thing is incredibly easy to dissemble and clean. I even stands up for the most part on it's own.
